ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Boys 2006 squad grows a bit more with to 6-5 loss to Atlante SD

SAN YSIDRO, Calif. –Coach Sebastian Salomon is not always concerned about the scoreboard. Sure, the Xolos Academy FC coach wants his teams to win every game but that is not always the bottom line. At least it is not here at Xolos Academy FC.

The development of players comes first. Being competitive is a goal as coaches want their athletes to become great competitors and they are doing so with every game and experience on the field.

“We lost 6-5 but it was a great game. Our team played very well,” Salomon said after a 6-5 loss to Atlante SD Saturday Sept. 17 at San Ysidro High.”  The result in this category is the least of our worries. What matters is for these kids to get better step-by-step as they continue to practice every day.”

Xolos Academy FC, much like its parent team, Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles, will continue to thrive on developing youth players to provide a platform so they can reach their athletic goals. Winning trophies is fine but becoming outstanding players in the future is priority.
